WE ARE RECRUITING A SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER

SRM Industries Ltd are looking for an experienced Sales Account Manager to become part of the team, with the day-to-day focus on building, maintaining and strengthening relationships with current and new clients.
Job Requirements
You will be site based and responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers and overseeing sales. As a Sales Account Manager, you should work to satisfy customers’ needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. Some key duties include:
- Operate as the main point of contact for assigned customers (blue chip and smaller)
- Develop and maintain long term relationships with accounts
- Ensure clients are involved and regularly updated on the status of their requests i.e. products and services are responded to in a timely fashion
- The need to communicate client needs and demands to employer company
- Ability to manage projects within client relationships, working to carry out client goals whilst ensuring company goals are equally met
- Identifying ways to further enhance the growth of the business via existing clients
- Working in collaboration with team members assigned to the same account to ensure an all-round first-class service in delivering and providing a quality service consistently
- Ability to work under pressure and providing service multiple clients concurrently ensuring deadlines are met through managing expectations
- Ensure records are accurately maintained and regularly kept updated on transactions related to each client
- Report directly into the Sales Director

Person Specification
- 3+ years sales experience within manufacturing (sector is advantageous)
- Excellent time management skills
- Assertive in managing a mixed calibre of clients – both blue chip and small
- Strong influential and relationship building skills
- Focused and strong attention to detail
- Ability to be flexible with a focus on best fit approach per client
- Ability to negotiate and build strong rapport with clients
- Excellent communication skills
- Good analytical and reporting skills
- Flexible and a stress resistant personality
- Professional with the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong observation skills
- Self-motivated and strong ethos of working effectively and efficiently
- Positive outlook to work displayed in body language and all forms of communication
- Great interpersonal skills
